Who Am I? Where Am I?

Okay, I just have to share…because I am having the most bizarre experience as we speak. The guy that we live with is a little…um…strange. He just got playing the sound of music sound track, but in some weird language that I don’t know. Now he is blasting music that is remakes of 50’s classic oldies songs, but in Norwegian sung by a man that sounds kind of like a frog. IT IS SO WEIRD! What is going on??? I know it doesnt sound as weird as it actually is, but its downright SCARY!

    Is he listening to Eilert Pilarm, Scandiavia’s own cult-phenomenon Elvis-impersonator, by any chance? (http://eilertpilarm.to/) If so, I would only worry about him staying out drinking too late and still having a nachspiel.

    Hehehe! Okay it does sound weird when you first hear norwegian, and they DO love to sing!! I’m sure this is a cultural experience you won’t soon forget!! Have you been to a party where everybody sings yet?? let me know when you do!

    @Mats - Notes about the World: I checked and that is not who he was listening to. It is some really old Norwegian group apparently. It might have been less painful if it was some elvis impersonator! :)

    Oh there is nothing like passing a bar and hearing “Smoke on the Water” half sung in Norwegian by a band. That was an interesting experience when out on the town in Norway. I was there for 3 weeks last month. Going to a party where everyone speaks Norwegian but you is interesting though. LOL But I had fun meeting my boyfriends friends. I can’t wait to go back to see him for Christmas.
