So if you have been around my blog for a while, you might remember a post called Doctor!Doctor!. It was about my first trip to the doctors in Norway. I was so impressed because I went for my birth control (DepoProvera) like I always do every three months. But this time I was pleasantly surprised when they let me have a prescription for the shot and I could give it myself instead of going in to the doctors to get it.

I was so happy because I thought that that would make it so easy. Till I remembered my numbing fear of needles.

So, I decided to make my mind up and do it. I could give it to myself. I figured if diabetics and drug addicts can do it, why cant I?

I looked on the internet to see how to give yourself a shot. I had the bright idea that I could find a video on youtube and watch someone do it….ohmygosh, that was SUCH a bad idea.

Fear of needles + a visual of someone giving themselves a shot = I almost passed out watching the video.

I wish my my was here to give me the shot!!!!
