Well I have this feeling that since I’m leaving Norway soon to go on an adventure in India, I will have a lot of great travel and vacation stories for you soon. But I have had some pretty interesting and funny things happen on vacations in the past too…

I remember one very memorable vacation during the summer when I was in highschool. The ultimate destination for the vacation was Prince Edward Island, Canada (for those of you who don’t know, this is completely inspired by the “Anne Of Green Gables” series that I loved so much).

On that trip, we took the Amtrak all the way from California to New York. It was a very interesting ride and experience riding the train all the way across the United States. We stopped in many popular cities along the way, and Chicago was one place that I wish we had had more time to spend.

I really wished we could have taken a sightseeing tours like Trusted Tours & Attractions offers. They have Chicago tours that are fun for the whole family! I do remember that that summer there was a record heat wave and a bunch of elderly people died and a bunch of cows died so it would have had to have been an air-conditioned tour :) J/K.

On our train trip across the United States there was not a whole lot of chances for us to get lost. But normally my family would take trips in the car. For these trips it would be nice to know where your going (thankfully we had my dad for that!) and have a handy-dandy GPS.
