Ever since I moved here to Norway everyone I meet has been telling me how much I am going to hate the winter here and how I am “In for it” when it gets colder. But so far, I have loved it and think its beautiful.
When I arrived in September everyone said to me “Just wait, next month you will hate it. It will be so cold!”. Then October came and it was colder, but beautiful and I loved it. Then in October everyone said “Just wait, next month it will be SO cold that you will hate it!”. So November came, and so far it is getting very cold. But I think it is beautiful, and I love it.
It really is getting very cold. There is frost on the ground even though we have not had snow yet (I cant wait!). I heard that in Lithuania it has already snowed and also in Ukraine. I am a little jealous, but I’m sure I will get my fill before the winter is over!
Sorry to keep talking about the weather, but it is so fun for me!

Well, I grew up in the rather warm Australia, and despite being here last winter, I’m still excited about the snow :)

I think it depends on the attitude and you really have the right one. Like I always says; its no such as bad weather, only bad cloths. So if you like to be outdoors and love the fresh air, Norway is great all four seasons around. I hope there will be snow soon too, because that’s half the fun for the winter time. And then you appreciate a hot summer day in 6 mouth even more ::-)
