Since I have been here in India for about two months now at a beautiful ashram, meditating and meditating and meditating…I have gotten SO out of the loop.  What do I mean exactly? Well, the new Sex and the City movie has apparently come out and I can not see it. I just stumbled on the new season of the Real World: Hollywood last night (and could not believe how many episodes they have shown and I did not even know it was airing!).

The internet connection here is so slow that it took practically two months to download the last episodes of Survivor: Fans vs Favorites (but it was well worth it, even though Pavrti won at the end :( ) and I had given up hope of watching the rest of American Idol and Big Brother (which was a huge sacrifice, because Big Brother is so my favorite show) because it is like impossible to download things here.

Although I somehow got my hands on a few episodes of The Bachelor: London Calling (which is really not that good, but gives me a tiny bit of reality tv fun here).  And I have high hopes that I can start watching the new season of The Real World: Hollywood when I get back from Bangalore!

I know you would probably think that all of this meditating and high spiritual studies that I am doing here in India would wash away all my shallow attachments like reality tv. But thankfully you can learn about God and still love The Real World (the show I mean)!
