The lesson of the day…is my new invented weather word…Snain. And if you visit my blog recently you will see it in a picture on my weather widget on the side in a picture that looks like this.
Yes my friends, snain is SNOW + RAIN all at the same time = SNAIN.
Lets just say, if your not dressed in waterproof from head to toe when you go out in this stuff, it gets pretty messy. But hey, you know me, I still love it! Just need to buy some more plastic/rubber/water repellent clothing and shoes :)

Snain is Insane!..
To add to those winter woes;
Between your toes and up your nose..
Does Oslo really Blow?!..
NO!…
Though I must attest,
When you’re not well dressed;
you’re one BIG f_#@’in Mess!!!
I’ll take two rubber boots please! Tak.

Snain sounds awful! But equally menacing is our WAIN=wind+rain as in North West england. Terrible weather here, strong winds and rain…what can one do!

I can not believe it. When I was young they would take about snain but no one knows what it is today. Snain was on the wheather board along with wind ,rain and everything else that came our way. Back in the day when snow was snow and stayed on the ground all winter. I thank you for having my back on this word
