So last week I went to my second movie since I have moved to Norway. I am still getting used to the “assigned seating” in the movie theatres, but other than that it is similar to what I am used to.
This time the theatre we went to was so huge I could not believe it! I was saying how big the movie theatre was when we went in there and some guy behind me said that it is the biggest one in Europe. I don’t know if it is true or not, but I would believe it because of how gigantic it was.
Anyways, the movie that I went to see was “The Golden Compass”. Before I tell a 
little about the movie, let me give you an idea of how much I liked it based on this… I have never fallen asleep in a movie theatre before, but I was sleeping so much about half way through, I have no clue what the ending was (not that I cared, because the movie sucked so bad).
The movie had all the makings of a wonderful and magical kind of movie, and had great advertisements all around Oslo that made me really excited to see this movie. Alas…it totally sucked.
So sorry to disappoint you all with my bad review, but because the nap I got was the best part of this movie experience, I have to give this movie two thumbs down.

I am sorry to here this. I was really looking forward to seeing this movie. I read the book and really loved the book and from the ads on TV it looked really good.
So now I don’t know what to do. I may still go see it.

I guess you went to the Colosseum cinema at Majorstua? It is pretty big, yes.. :)
Sorry to hear you didn’t like the movie. I haven’t seen it, but I’m planning to read the book first anyway. I guess I’ll catch it on dvd eventually. (Easier if I fall asleep too… haha!)
