Moving Is Not Easy

April 20th, 2010 · 3 Comments

After moving from the US to Norway, you all know that now I have moved to Germany. Making such big moves in just a few years is really exhausting. I know that the moving is not over for me, since we are in an apartment right now in Munich that is ‘temporary’. But we plan on staying in this city now (at least in this area of Germany), so that is good.

We have a bunch of our things in boxes still in Lithuania and are currently trying to find a good way to get them all here to Munich (that doesn’t cost too much). I know if you are looking for moving companies NYC based, you are in better luck than I am. You can go to a site called citymove.com and they have a ‘reverse auction’ system to help movers and move-ees match up for a good price. I am in desperate need of something like this at the moment.

Anyone know of a good, reliable and reasonably priced way to move my things from Lithuania to Germany? Let me know if you guys have any ideas! :) ….And I will let you know how it goes.

I’ve read and dropped on you from entrecard. Nice experience it sounds in Germany. You ever find yourself missing the States?

Good information. Wish there was more content like this easily available.

I would do it by express even more expensive, if they are important things, at least you make sure that they will be well and faster.
