Its the middle of October now, and the holidays are coming up fast. And I am trying to come up with a plan for buying Christmas presents this year - because this will involve shipping everything I by from Norway to the states, its going to be a little more complicated than it usually is.

I know that in the past for the holidays I have overdrawn my checking account and maxed out credit cards in a bad way. And that was not including shipping things from Norway. Those were not fun lessons for me to learn!

Now that I’m older and wiser (in theory), I know that instead of getting all those bad marks on my credit score and all the overdraft fees, it might have been better to just have taken out a small personal loan.

Then with a secured loan I would not have the same repercussions as I had with all of my bad decisions I made before, and with that loan I could have still have gotten everything I needed!
