Well, even though you would not know it by the lack of snow I have seen since I moved here to Norway, it is actually starting to get quite cold. This morning when I got up the temperature was -5 (Celsius) which is like 23 degrees farenheit. It was quite crisp, but beautiful and sunny (for the few hours it can be).

And even though I am loving this winter weather I am experiencing living in Norway, Marius hates it so much and wants more than anything to go somewhere warm. And as a matter of fact, we just might do that!

There are a lot of options out there for where we could go and find some sunshine and warm weather and escape Norways cold winter for a little while, but there is one place that stands out above the rest. It is Amelia Island. Not only were they voted one of the top 10 islands in America by Condé Nast readers but they also have so much to do there. They have golfing, great shopping and wonderful restaurants.
