So, as many of you out there know….at the moment I don’t have a ‘real’ job but my only income is from this blog (which at the moment is basically nothing). But as time goes on and my blog grows, my potential for income is increasing and blogging is becoming more profitable for me. It is really cool that I am actually starting to really get paid to blog.
One of the criteria that is very important for getting paid for blogging on a blog like mine (Norway – An American in Oslo”) to make any kind of substantial income is that they need to have been around for a while. This is one of the major problems I have been running into lately when trying to find anyone to advertise on blogs that are like mine and help me out as far as money goes.
But yesterday my blog had an important anniversary. It became three whole months old!
Now that my blog has reached three months, I am able to apply to many more profitable advertisers and money making programs than I was before that date.
One of the programs that I was just accepted to is Smorty. Smorty is a cool program for bloggers who want to earn money from their blog! You should really check it out if you have a blog (at least if you blog is three months old 
haha).

I was in a similar situation, trying to monetize a new blog. I’ve changed directions now, and gone with Widgetbucks. Here is a link to get you started if you are interested. (yes, it is keyed to my referral ID). I’m not regretting the decision to go this route.

Hmmm… Can one really make a living out of blogging? I would imagine that would be really hard in Norway, where everything is so expensive? How much can you get if let’s say you have 100 visitors a day?
