I made it!

October 23rd, 2007 · No Comments

babysitting.jpgAs you might have read earlier I had ventured out on a bus all by myself to an place in the outskirts of Oslo to go to an interview for babysitting. I was just worried about making it there and back in one piece. I did it! Yay.

The bus trip was about a half an hour and was very beautiful. The woman I was meeting met me at the bus stop (thankfully, because it was enough of a challenge to get there!). And I met with her and her son for a while.

She is from England and her husband is Norwegian and their adorable son is a year and a half (a very well behaved year and a half old cutie).

After she met me at the bus stop, we went to the park so the baby could play with some of his friends and I was introduced to all the neighbors and grandparents etc. It was an ordeal.

Everyone was very nice, and as I said, the baby was very well behaved. The only problem is that I think that what they were thinking of as far a price was concerned was quite a bit lower that I had been expecting. So its something to think about. Send happy thoughts my way (I mean happy thoughts that involve me getting paid more money :) hehe).

We will see what happens, and I will keep you updated.
