I really enjoy participating in blog carnivals. And I do so quite often. I just wanted to share with you the two I was just recently published in.
Oh – and for those of you who do not know what a blog carnival is, it is where a bunch of bloggers submit their posts on certain topics and all the links to those great articles are posted in one place.
I usually participate in travel related and expat related blog carnivals. So if you enjoy reading articles about those things you can check out the links below to find many great articles on those topics.
This past month I participated in these two:
The Carnival of Cities –
This is my FAVORITE blog carnival and I try to join in on this one as much as possible. I think this is one of the best blog carnivals out there for the ‘armchair traveler’ and world traveler alike. Make sure you go over there to check out the great posts for this month!
Inspiring Travel -
This is a newer blog carnival (for me) that I think I have participated in twice. This one is really fun though because there are a lot of beautiful pictures to look at just on the carnival page (in addition to a lot of great links, of course).
So here is my question….do you think Culture Shock should start a blog carnival? What topic would you like it to center around? Tell me what you think and your suggestions in a comment below!

Believe me or not: I did not know about blog carnival – so thanks, I really learned something new and interesting about blogsphere today!
I submitted one of my post about sightseeing in Oslo at The Carnival of Cities :-)
I think you should try to host one. How about a theme of expats?
Btw: Have I invited you to the Oslo Blog Gathering 2010? You and your readers are all welcome you know!

I recently found your blog through a Carnival (Sorry, can’t remember which one). I look forward to checking out these travel-related carnivals – the Carnival of Cities looks particularly interesting.
Thanks.

This is a great travel blog that you have here. I’m a first-time visitor, but I like what I see.

I think a Carnival would be a great idea, plus you will recieve some publicity for it. Maybe a favorite destination and why carnival. Where was your favorite vacation, and why was it so great? Best of luck! :)
