I have to give you all an update about my workout regime here in Norway. I have posted before listing the gyms that I know of here in Oslo and hoped that help some of you out finding a place to workout.
I personally go to Fitness Xpress. I have to say that I LOVE this gym. It is less than half the price of S.A.T.S., there is NO contract and it has all the newest equipment. I really like this gym a lot, and would highly suggest it to anyone who lives here in Oslo.
I recently ran into the owner and talked with him for a little bit and he said that they were soon opening a new Fitness Xpress in a more central location in the city center. I will try to keep you updated as to where that will be and when.
Like I said…if you can check them out, because I think that they are the best that there is here in Oslo.

Good to know S.A.T.S. get some competition – I prefer to exercise in the nature though.
Wishing you a great end to your week

Hi…I am a Singaporean married to a Norwegian and will be moving permanently to Oslo in December 2009.
Can someone please advise where I can get connected with expatriate wives in Oslo.
Like an Association or Club.
Thanks for any help!

Hi,
To Mrs G also, if I may. I am a vietnamese married to a norwegian, living abroad for the past 8 years and will be moving back to oslo in June 2010. I lived in Singapore for 4 years before moving to Hong Kong, I just thought it might be comfortable for you to get in touch with me, knowing we have something in common,
. Although I have lived in Norway for 7 years before moving abroad, I didn’t manage to get close to any local people, my friends being the expatriated wives, married to my husband’s colleagues.
Hope to hear from you

You can just call them and ask them. I do not remember all of the information exactly. There should be someone there who speaks English well enough to help you find out all of that information. Good luck!
