One thing that gets frustrating about being an expat is that everything is so unfamiliar. Simple things that I am used to in the US that make life easier like roadside assistance plan with AAA, are things that I have to live without here in Germany.

Even though the unfamiliar can be frustrating and difficult, that is also part of the reason being an expat is so fun.
