It is official, the ski season has started here in Oslo, Norway. Today it was announced that the slopes are open and ready to go!
I find it a little strange considering that it snowed on Wednesday and was beautiful, but then on Thursday it was POURING raining all day. Maybe not up in the mountains, but it was down here in the city. I have to add though, that even though it was pouring raining, it was still so amazingly beautiful. And even though my socks, shoes, pants and a large percentage of the rest of me were soaking wet from 7:30AM to 11:00PM, I loved every minute of it and it was gorgeous. The weather is so amazing here in Norway!
…It almost makes you forget how expensive everything is :)

Ahhhhhh yes, snow bunnies. I’ll look forward to returning for stories on my favorite winter sport…which isn’t skiing.
